Fräulein Laut , real name Kathrin Fasching , is an Austrian singer from Sebersdorf in Styria . She became known through her participation in the Puls-4 casting show Herz von Österreich .
biography
Kathrin Fasching took part in the pop course at the Hamburg University of Music in 2010 , where she and four other participants from Austria and Germany founded her band called Fräulein Laut , which she also uses for herself. She is a singer and guitarist and writes her own songs in the Styrian dialect. In 2013 she recorded her debut album These Songs .
Before it was published, Kathrin Fasching applied to the casting show Herz von Österreich at the end of the year and was selected from 4,000 candidates for one of the eight preliminary rounds. After her preliminary appearance on January 3rd, 2014 her contribution Sometimes, think i no an di by Rainhard Fendrich was published as a download and entered the Austrian charts at number 31. This made her the most successful in her group in terms of sales, but the audience vote and thus participation in the finals went to Johannes Spanner .
