The Framskotet ( Norwegian for protruding bulkhead ) is a rock spur in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Borg massif , it forms the western foothills of the Borga mountain .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it descriptively, mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952).
