François-Gabriel Lépaulle
François-Gabriel Lépaulle or François Gabriel Guillaume Lepaulle (* 1804 in Versailles , † 1886 in Ay in the Marne department ) was a French painter .
Lépaulle, pupil of Henri Regnault (1843–1871), V. Bertin and Horace Vernet (1789–1863), attended the École des Beaux-Arts from 1819 and found his way through the painting “L'invention de la lyre” (The invention the lyre) entrance to the salon, in which he from then on regularly attended. He made numerous trips to Flanders, Spain, Italy and Africa.
He was the teacher of the genre painter Philipp Arons (* 1821).

Lépaulles works can be found in Paris in the Musée Carnavalet , in the Church of St. Vincent de Paul and the Church of Saint-Merry , as well as in Valenciennes and the Palace of Versailles .
