François-de-Paul Baudichon
François-de-Paul Baudichon SSCC (born September 18, 1812 in Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine , † June 11, 1882 in Tours ) was a Vicar Apostolic of the Marquesas Islands.
biography
François-de-Paul Baudichon joined the order of the Arnstein Fathers, made his profession in 1837 and was ordained a priest in 1838 . Pope Gregory XVI appointed him on August 13, 1844 Vicar Apostolic of Eastern Oceania and Titular Bishop of Basilinopolis .
The auxiliary bishop in San Juan de Cuyo , José Cevallos Hilarión Etrura OP , donated to him on 21 December of next year's episcopal ordination .
Gregory XVI. appointed him on May 9, 1848 Vicar Apostolic of the Marquesas Islands. On January 17, 1855, he resigned from his office.
