François Laccarrau

François Laccarrau , in some publications also François Lacarreau (* in Lyon ), is a former French racing car driver .

Racing career

François Laccarrau was successful in the French monoposto sport in the late 1960s . In 1968 he finished fifth overall on a Pygmée in the Formule France , the predecessor series of Formula Renault (Master Max Jean ). After finishing third in 1969 behind Denis Dayan and Robert Mieusset , he won the 1970 racing series on a Martini MK4 .

1968 he enters together with Bernard Collomb on a Alpine A110 , the 24-hour race at Le Mans , but was not considered due to lack of distance traveled. He finished sixth overall in the 1972 Paris 1000 km race .
