François Vignole (born July 8, 1912 in Lau-Balagnas , Hautes-Pyrénées , † 1992 in Saint-Lary-Soulan ) was a French ski racer . He was particularly successful in the slalom and downhill disciplines .

Career

Vignole grew up at the foot of the Barèges slopes . There he became a member of the Société L'Avalanche ski club and enjoyed early successes at regional championships. In 1932 and 1935 he was French champion. At the 1935 World Cup in Mürren, Switzerland, he won the bronze medal.
