Fran Horowitz-Bonadies (* 1964 ) is an American businesswoman . She has been CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch Co since February 1, 2017 .

education

Horowitz graduated from Lafayette College and received her MBA from Fordham University .

work life

On October 20, 2014, Horowitz became corporate president of the Hollister brand . Horowitz later became Corporate President and Chief Merchandising Officer at Abercrombie & Fitch .

Horowitz has several years of retail experience . She has held senior positions at Ann Taylor Loft and Express, Inc . She also worked for Bloomingdale’s for 13 years . She began her career at Bergdorf Goodman , Bonwit Teller and Saks Fifth Avenue .

Horowitz replaced Michael Jeffries , who left Abercrombie & Fitch in December 2014 after more than two decades at the helm. With the departure of Jeffries, the change at the former cult brand was initiated.
