Hartmuth Hahn (born June 30, 1945 in Göppingen ) is a former German football player and coach.

Career

Hartmuth Hahn played at the beginning of his career in the 1st amateur league Württemberg , the third highest division for the Stuttgarter SC and SV Böblingen at the time . In 1968 Hahn was part of the team of Transport Battalion 270 Böblingen . In the transport battalion, players from VfB Stuttgart and the Stuttgarter Kickers as well as well-known players from the 1st Amateur League Württemberg were drafted into military service. These included Gerhard Heinze , Manfred “Manne” Weidmann , Werner Haaga , Horst Haug and Karl-Heinz Handschuh . On May 22, 1968, he completed a test match with this team at the Stuttgarter Kickers, where he attracted attention and was committed to their amateur team a few years later .

In the 1970/71 season he moved to the amateurs of VfB Stuttgart , with whom he was Württemberg champion. In the following seasons, the striker was able to assert himself in the second team of the Kickers and was an amateur in the professional squad. On December 9, 1972 Hahn wore the first team's jersey in the DFB Cup against Eintracht Braunschweig for the first time . Born in Göppingen, he made his professional debut on March 24, 1973 at the home game against SSV Jahn Regensburg . After his time with the Kickers, Hahn played one more season for TSV Eltingen with Erich Schmeil and Siegfried Sommer .

From 1980 to 1985 Hahn worked for the Stuttgarter Kickers as a coach for the A and B youth teams and as assistant coach to Slobodan Čendić for the first team. Hahn is currently working as the educational director at the Kickers' junior performance center.

Private

Hahn was a teacher at vocational high schools.
