Francesca Bertoni (born December 29, 1993 in Pavullo nel Frignano ) is an Italian middle-distance and obstacle runner .

Athletic career

In 2013, Francesca Bertoni first took part in an international championship, the European Cross Country Championships in Belgrade , where she finished 34th in the U23 classification and won the bronze medal in the team classification. Two years later, she appeared in the obstacle course at the European Team Championships in Lille . There she increased her best performance at 9: 43.80 minutes, finished in fourth place and qualified at the same time for the World Championships in London , where she with 10: 01.36 minutes in advance to retire. At the World Student Games in Taipei two weeks later, the student took theUniversity of Bologna fifth place.

In 2016 and 2017 she became the Italian obstacle course champion.
