Francesca Guardigli (born April 10, 1973 in San Marino ) is a former San Marino tennis player .

Career

Guardigli is one of the most successful tennis players in the history of sports in the Republic of San Marino.

At the Fed Cup , she played a total of five encounters in the only participation in San Marino in the 1997 season . She won four of her five singles and one of her five doubles. Between 1991 and 2003 she won a total of three gold, one silver and four bronze medals at the Mediterranean Games and the Games of the Small States of Europe . She won five doubles titles at the ITF Women's Circuit . On May 5, 1997, she reached 234, her highest world ranking in doubles. In the singles she reached rank 448 on August 4th, 1997.

She worked as a sports instructor on behalf of the Federazione Sammarinese Tennis at the San Marino Tennis Academy , where she is especially dedicated to the next generation.
