Francesco Bianconi (born May 25, 1973 in Montepulciano , Province of Siena ) is an Italian musician and writer. He became known as part of the band Baustelle , but also made a name for himself as a songwriter .

Career

Bianconi was a founding member of the indie rock band Baustelle in 1996 , where he played guitar, synthesizer and organ and sang. Over the years he has also worked as a songwriter for other musicians such as Syria , Irene Grandi , Noemi , Paola Turci , Chiara , Eros Ramazzotti , Gianna Nannini and Umberto Tozzi . In 2011 he published his first novel Il regno animale with Mondadori , which was followed by La resurrezione della carne in 2015 . After a large number of publications and extensive live activities with Baustelle, Bianconi announced his first solo album for 2020.
