Francesco Mantica (born September 14, 1727 in Rome , † April 13, 1802 there ) was an Italian cardinal .

Life

Francesco Mantica was born into a noble family. He became Pope Clement XIII's first chamberlain in 1758 . and prelate . He was also the successor to Guglielmo Pallotta between 1785 and 1802 Prefect of the Congregation for Roads , Bridges and Waters (Congregatio pro viis pontibus et acquis curandis) , which was created by Pope Sixtus V through the Apostolic Constitution Immensa Aeterni Dei of January 22, 1588 and existed until 1870.
