Guglielmo Pallotta
Guglielmo Pallotta (born November 13, 1727 in Macerata , Papal States , † September 21, 1795 in Rome ) was a Curia Cardinal of the Roman Church .
Origin and life
Pallotta comes from the same sex as the cardinals Giovanni Evangelista Pallotta (raised 1587), Giovanni Battista Maria Pallotta (raised 1629) and Antonio Pallotta (raised 1823).
He was on June 23, 1777 by Pope Pius VI. elevated to cardinal and on July 28 of the same year appointed cardinal priest with the titular church of Sant'Eusebio . In 1782 he moved to the titular church of Santa Maria degli Angeli . 1785–1795 he held the office of prefect of the Council Congregation .
Guglielmo Pallotta died in Rome and was buried in the local church of Santa Maria in Portico , as he had ordered in his will.
