Francis D'Albenas , full name Luis Francis D'Albenas Reyes , (born January 11, 1996 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.77-meter-tall offensive player D'Albenas comes from the youth department of the Uruguayan first division club River Plate Montevideo . At Apertura 2013 he was promoted to the professional squad. In the 2013/14 season he was not used in the Primera División . At Apertura 2014 he moved on loan to first division promoted Rampla Juniors . In the 2014/15 season he was used 13 times (one goal) in the top Uruguayan league. After the relegation of the Rampla Juniors at the end of the season, he briefly returned to River Plate Montevideo. In early August 2015, however, he joined the Colombian club Patriotas Boyacá again on loan , but did not appear in the league there. At the beginning of 2016 he returned to River Plate Montevideo. In June 2016, he underwent knee surgery, whereupon months of downtime were forecast.

National team

D'Albenas took part in the U-17 South American Championship 2013 in Argentina with the Uruguayan U-17 selection . With the team, he finished fourth in the tournament. In October 2013 he was part of the Uruguayan squad at the 2013 U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates . There he reached the quarter-finals with the team. He was used in four World Cup matches. He didn't score a goal.
