Lorene Drive is a post-hardcore / alternative rock band from Victorville , California , formed in 2002 . The group disbanded in 2009, but came back together three years later.

history

The musicians Daniel Murillo ( vocals , electric bass ), Stephen Fisher and Justin Smith (both electric guitar ) as well as Kris Comeaux ( drums ) founded the band Lorene Drive in their junior high times, which among others is from Hawthorne Heights , Glassjaw , Cave In , but was also influenced musically by Led Zeppelin , Metallica and The Black Crowes . The group was supported by Lyle Tilo Reust (electric guitar), Kevin Roddy (electric bass), John Martinez (electric guitar, backing vocals ) and Matthew Kearns (electric bass).

In 2003 the EP Savan was released in Super Pursuit Mode , which was later reissued by Top Notch Records . In 2004 the group was signed by Lobster Records , an independent label from Santa Barbara . A year later, the debut album Romantic Wealth was released through the record company. Between November and December 2005, the group toured the United States with Cave In and Doomriders .

In 2005 and 2007 the band toured on the Warped Tour . The group also played on the Taste of Chaos tour in the United States. In 2008, the EP Out Alive was released before the group disbanded in 2009. Daniel Murillo became singer with Hollywood Undead after their previous singer Aaron Erlichman was kicked out of the band.

After a three-year hiatus, the group announced on Twitter that they would be working on a new album again.
