Taste of chaos
Taste of Chaos is an American post-hardcore / metalcore tour initiated in the winter of 2004 by Kevin Lyman , creator of the Warped Tour . The tour was designed by the same people who created the summer Warped Tour.
The tour led through the USA and Canada, Europe and Asia with various headliners.
The Taste Of Chaos Tour was held to introduce bands outside of the usual punk and metal genre to the fans who normally perform on the Warped Tour. The headlining bands in 2005 were: The Used , My Chemical Romance and Killswitch Engage . In autumn 2005 they decided to jump across the pond and play with the bands The Used, Story of the Year and Rise Against in Australia, Europe and Asia. The lineup for 2006 consisted of the bands Deftones , Thrice , Dredg and Funeral for a Friend . In 2007 bands like Rise Against, The Used and Aiden were on the tour, in 2008 D'espairsRay , Bullet for My Valentine and Blessthefall were among the parties.
In 2009, Thursday , Bring Me the Horizon , Four Year Strong , Pierce the Veil and Cancer Bats roamed America from February 14th to April 9th. In Flames , Killswitch Engage and Heaven Shall Burn took part in the European tour.
In 2010 the Taste of Chaos Tour only went through Europe. In the USA it was replaced by the Rockstar Uproar Tour. The line-up for the European concerts consisted of Disturbed , Papa Roach , Buckcherry and Halestorm .
There was no Taste of Chaos tour between 2011 and 2014. This was only "reanimated" in 2015 as a day festival. In 2016 there will be another edition of the Taste of Chaos, for the first time as a festival tour.
