Francisco José Martínez Pérez (born May 14, 1983 in Churriana ) is a Spanish cyclist .

Francisco José Martínez began his career in 2005 with the Spanish Professional Continental Team Andalucia-Paul Versan . In his second year there, he finished sixth in the one-day race Clásica a los Puertos . In the 2007 season he was stage tenth at the Volta ao Alentejo and, among other things, took second place in the mountain classification of the Tour of Catalonia .

After finishing his active cycling career, Martínez became the sporting director of the Andalucía team .
