Francisco Roberto Ibañez

Francisco Roberto Ibañez (born September 12, 1940 in San Miguel de Tucumán ) is an Argentine Romanist .

Life

After completing the Bachillerato in his hometown in 1957, he studied Mathematics at Universidad Nacional de Tucumán from 1958 to 1965 , German from 1966 to 1967 in Heidelberg and general linguistics and Romance studies in Cologne from 1967 to 1971 (1971 MA: General Linguistics, Romance Studies). From 1971 to 1975 he was a research assistant and lecturer at the University of Cologne science speech at the Institute of General, after graduation in 1972, Dr. phil. in Cologne: General linguistics, Romance studies, he taught with Hansjakob Seiler from 1975 to 2003 as a professorfor Hispanic Linguistics (C 2) in Hamburg .

His main areas of work are communication theory, pragmalinguistics and text linguistics - Spanish.
