Francisco Solís

Francisco Javier Solís Cruz (born December 4, 1952 in Tampico , Tamaulipas ) is a retired Mexican football player who mainly played in midfield .

career

Solís began his professional career in the 1971/72 season with his hometown club CD Tampico , which at the time played in the second division. After just one season, Solís was committed by the first division club CF Monterrey , where he was under contract for six years before he worked for the capital club Atlético Español from 1978 to 1981 . He then returned to Monterrey , where he spent the following two seasons with the UANL Tigres , with whom he won the Mexican Football Championship in the 1981/82 season. In the 1983/84 season Rivas played again for his home club, this time playing in the first division and now trading as Tampico-Madero FC , before ending his active career with Atlas Guadalajara .
