Franco Gasparri

Franco Gasparri (actually Gianfranco Gasparri ; born October 31, 1948 in Senigallia , † March 28, 1999 in Rome ) was an Italian actor.

Life

Gasparri, the son of a painter and film poster designer , had lived with his family in the Italian capital since early childhood and, at the age of 12, played the role of the hero's youthful friend in three mythological films. After school and military service with the paratroopers , the brown-haired, slim, rather tall actor became one of the most sought-after stars of the popular “Lancio” photo novels from 1970 thanks to his dazzling appearance . Middle of the decade, then also asked the film again, where, after two romantic love movies in Stelvio Massis police film - trilogy had to "Mark il Poliziotto" success with audiences and critics. On June 4, 1980 Gasparri had a serious accident with his motorcycle. His film career came to an end after suffering from paraplegia and a life in a wheelchair. After 5 years of rehabilitation training, he continued to work as an editor for photo novels.

Gasparri was married to Stella Macallè; the couple has two children. He died in 1999 after having respiratory problems.
