Franco Daniel Jara (born July 15, 1988 in Villa María , Argentina ) is an Argentine football player who currently plays for the Mexican club CF Pachuca .
Career
In the club
Jara comes from the youth of Arsenal de Sarandí and made his professional debut on May 23, 2008 in the loss to the Argentinos Juniors . The Argentine scored his first goal on April 10, 2010 against CA Colón . During his time at Arsenal, he made 82 league games and scored 11 times. He played his first international game in the Copa Sudamericana against the Honduran representative CD Motagua .
He moved abroad for the 2010/11 season when he went to Europe and signed a five-year deal with Benfica Lisbon .
The striker moved to Granada CF on a one-year loan for the 2011/12 season .
In late July 2012, Jara left Europe on loan for the 2012/13 season and returned to Argentina to play for CA San Lorenzo de Almagro .
In the 2013/14 season Sara played on loan for the Argentine club Estudiantes de La Plata .
On January 24, 2015, the Argentine signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Greek record champions Olympiacos . Jara could not convince despite his winning goal in the cup semi-final against AEK Athens . The Greeks announced the split on the last day of the transfer window. Jara moved to the Mexican first division club CF Pachuca .
In the national team
Jara was first nominated on January 19, 2010 for the A-team of Argentina for the game against Costa Rica . In the game, which ended 3-2 for Argentina, Jara also scored his first goal, which also meant the winning goal for his team.
