Frank-Olaf Radtke

Frank-Olaf Radtke (born October 30, 1945 in Luckenwalde ) is a German educationalist .

Life

Frank-Olaf Radtke studied sociology , psychology and economics at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and at the Free University of Berlin . This was followed by the doctorate to Dr. phil. and habilitation at the Faculty of Education at Bielefeld University . 1991 was Research Fellow at the Center for Research in Ethnic Relations at the University of Warwick / Coventry, UK. In 1993/94 he taught as a visiting scholar in the field of "Nationalism and Xenophobia" at the Hamburg Institute for Social Research . Since 1994 he has been a full professor for educational sciences at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main with a focus on education and migration , education and profession / organization.

On behalf of the department, he is the editor of the Frankfurt Contributions to Educational Science , co-editor of the book series Grundriss der Pädagogik / Erziehungswissenschaft at Kohlhammer Verlag and Migration and Kultur at Cooperative Verlag and a member of the board of trustees of the German Institute for International Educational Research (DIPF).

He is a member of the Migration Council .
