Frank Blake

Francis S. "Frank" Blake (born July 30, 1949 in Boston , Massachusetts ) is an American manager and former government official.

Life

Frank Blake studied at Harvard University , where he graduated in 1971; he then studied law at Columbia Law School , where he graduated in 1976. He worked from 2001 to 2002 United States Department of Energy Deputy Minister ( Deputy Secretary of Energy operates). In 2005 Blake moved to The Home Depot , where he became CEO and Chairman in 2007, succeeding Robert Nardelli .

In 1977 he married Anne McChristian, with whom he has two children. In 2005 Blake married Elizabeth Lanier for the second time.
