Frank Engehausen

Frank Engehausen (born January 31, 1963 in Uelzen ) is a German historian .

In 1982 he passed his Abitur in Mellendorf / Wedemark and then studied Medieval and Modern History and English Philology in Heidelberg . In 1989 he completed his Magister Artium, followed by his doctorate in 1993 and his habilitation in 2002. In 2005 he was appointed adjunct professor. 2007–2009 he was the chair for modern and contemporary history at the University of Karlsruhe . 2014–2017 he was the coordinator of the research project “History of the State Ministries in Baden and Württemberg in the Time of National Socialism”. Since 2017 Engehausen has been working as an academic assistant at the history seminar at Heidelberg University.
