Frank Lamprecht

Frank Lamprecht (born June 21, 1968 ) is a German chess player , writer and trainer.

He has been international champion since 1999 and plays in the Oberliga Nord for the Hamburg club Königsspringer SC 1984 , with whom he played in the 1st Bundesliga chess league in the 2001/02 season and made ten appearances there. When King Knight Hamburg he plays since the 1984/85 season.

Lamprecht made a name for himself above all with his books on chess finals , which he wrote together with the Hamburg Bundesliga player and grandmaster Karsten Müller . Fundamental Chess Endings won the British Chess Federation Book of the Year .

Its Elo rating is 2384 (as of April 2016), its highest rating to date was 2419 from May to December 2000.
