action

The young American Rick suffers from a rare and dangerous skin disease, Xeroderma pigmentosum , which forces him to constantly wear a leather body suit because the sun's rays are deadly for him. His father takes him and his catatonic mother to Yugoslavia, where a healer is supposed to help. However, Rick sees no progress in the healer's therapy and becomes more and more depressed after the initial euphoria. While shopping in town, he meets the beautiful actress Frances, with whom he falls in love and decides to take off the mask for Frances, even if it means death for him.

Reviews

The lexicon of international films described the film as a " boring, half-baked love film ".

Mike DeWolfe wrote in the Apollo Movie Guide that the film was so weak that it was surprising that Brad Pitt found work afterwards. The representations are " pathetic " (poor, pathetic, pathetic), the love relationship is " stilted " and parts of the plot are " irrelevant ", sometimes pointless.
