Frank Lohse (politician)

Frank-Ronald Lohse (born July 11, 1956 in Halle (Saale) , † April 2015 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Lohse attended the Polytechnische Oberschule and then completed an apprenticeship as a skilled machine and system fitter . He then attended the Martin-Anderson-Nexö School of Cultural Studies in Meissen and became the clubhouse manager . After the unification agreement , he received a diploma as a cultural scientist (FH). Afterwards he was cultural representative in the traffic combine of the district Neubrandenburg as well as head of department for artistic folk creation in the house of culture and education . He worked as a theater pedagogue , director and assistant at the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne Anklam .

He was also the project manager of a theater project with new media at the integrated comprehensive school with upper secondary school in Neubrandenburg. There he also led the model project “Community Education”. Lohse also worked as a guest lecturer for cultural industries at the Western Pomerania Theater Academy and as an actor.

From 2002 to 2006 he was a member of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament, where he was the cultural-political spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group.

Lohse was married and has two children. After his political career he worked as a book author and theater teacher.
