Frank Rebholz

Frank Rebholz (born December 11, 1956 ) is a former German police officer and former police chief of Ludwigsburg .

Professional background

Frank Rebholz took up the police service of the Baden-Württemberg police in 1977 in the middle service . In 1981 he was promoted to the higher service , in 1990 to the higher service . From 1990 to 1995 he was head of Inspection 310 at the Baden-Württemberg State Criminal Police Office. In 1995, he moved to the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Interior, among other things as head of Section 36 and as overall responsible for the state project for the introduction of BOS digital radio . From July 2006 he headed the Ludwigsburg Police Department.

In 2014, as police chief, he became head of the Ludwigsburg Police Headquarters .

He retired on June 1, 2019. He was succeeded by Burkhard Metzger .

On May 26, 2019, he was elected to the Ludwigsburg district council as a candidate for the Green Party, with over 15,000 votes in the entire district council.

Since 2019 he has been the first chairman of the lobby association Haus und Grund of the Ludwigsburg region, and he is also a member of the supervisory board of the Kreissparkasse Ludwigsburg .
