Frank Scialdone

Frank J. Scialdone (* 1949 in Ohio ) is a former police chief and interim mayor of the Californian city ​​of Fontana .

Scialdone was born in the US state of Ohio and his family moved to California when Frank was two years old. He graduated from California State University, Long Beach , with a degree in criminology . In 1973 he joined the Fontana Police Department. In his 31 years of service, Scialdone made it to Chief of Police and headed the Fontana Police Department for almost four years. In 2004 he resigned from the police force.

In 2004, Frank Scialdone was admitted to the Fontana City Council and in 2006 confirmed by the guarantors for four years. When Mayor Mark Nuaimi resigned in July 2010 , the City Council unanimously elected Scialdone as his successor. He held office until the regular elections in November, from which Acquanetta Warren emerged victorious. Scialdone was no longer a member of the new city council.
