Frank Weiler

Frank Weiler (* 1968 ) is a German lawyer.

Life

From 1989 to 1993 he studied law at Bielefeld University (first state law examination ). After his legal clerkship (1993–1995) at the Regional Court of Bielefeld (second state examination), he worked from 1995 to 2001 as a research assistant at the Chair of Civil Law, Commercial and Business Law and Comparative Law ( Wolfgang Oehler ). After completing his doctorate in 2001 at the Faculty of Law at Bielefeld University, he was a research assistant (C1) at the chair for civil law, commercial and economic law and comparative law (Wolfgang Oehler) from 2002 to 2009 . After completing his habilitation in 2009 at the University of Bielefeld ( Venia legendi for civil law, commercial and commercial law, industrial property protection and legal methodology) and professorial positions at the universities of Mannheim , Münster , Frankfurt am Main , Osnabrück and Bielefeld from 2009-2013 , he has been there since August 2013 University professor at Bielefeld University, holder of the chair for civil law, industrial property rights and business law.
