The Frankfurter Allgemeine Woche (spelling: Frankfurter Allgemeine WOCHE , short FAZ Woche or FAZ Woche ) was a German news magazine that was started in April 2016 by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung . In May 2020 it was announced that the magazine will be discontinued at the end of June of the same year. The circulation sold previously fell from 52,048 copies in the first quarter of 2017 to 48,004 copies in the first quarter of 2020, a drop of 7.8 percent.

The magazine was published every Friday and was aimed at people between the ages of 30 and 49. It was dedicated to the topics of the week from politics, economy, culture, society and knowledge and dealt with a changing cover story in more detail. The magazine was published under the motto “The compact news magazine” because the magazine should not exceed 70 pages.
The magazine had an editorial staff of ten, but also relied on editors and correspondents from the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung . The editor in charge was Nikolas Busse until November 2019 and then Philip Eppelsheim.
The magazine was 26.5 × 20.3 cm in size and was printed using 4-color offset printing . It has also been published as an e-paper and a multimedia edition. The digital version was available the previous evening from 5 p.m.

The layout was heavily revised in September 2018. In addition, new sections in politics, in the features section and in “Money” have been added and the “Good to know” overview has been expanded to two pages. An episode of the comic strip “ Strizz ” by Volker Reiche then appeared every week .
