Franko Burraj (born August 19, 1998 ) is an Albanian sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

Franko Burraj is a member of the KS Vllaznia Shkodra association from Shkodra.

Franko Burraj gained his first international experience in 2018 when he finished eighth over 400 meters in 47.08 s at the U23 Mediterranean Championships in Jesolo , while he was disqualified in the 200-meter run in the preliminary run. He then reached sixth place at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona in 46.58 s and thus qualified over 400 meters for the European Championships in Berlin , where he was eliminated in the first round with 47.56 s. The following year he was fourth in the U23 Mediterranean Indoor Championships in Miramas in 48.77 s and then classified in the connection at the U23 European Championships in Gävle with 46.79 s in fifth place.

In 2017 and 2019 Burraj was Albanian champion in the 400-meter run and in 2019 also over 200 meters.
