František Bartoš (composer)
František Bartoš (born June 13, 1905 in Brněnec , † May 21, 1973 in Prague ) was a Czech composer .
He studied from 1921 to 1928 at the Prague Conservatory with Josef Bohuslav Foerster , Karel Boleslav Jirák and Jaroslav Křička . He taught here until 1931, after which he lived as a freelance composer. Bartoš composed, among other things, an orchestral suite and a melodrama , chamber music , piano pieces, songs and incidental music. In addition, he published publications on music history.
