František Dvořák (editor)
František Dvořák (born September 27, 1872 in Třebíč , Moravia ; † June 16, 1942 in Prague ), German Franz Dvorak , was a Bohemian journalist and editor as well as a politician and member of the Constituent National Assembly of Austria.
Life
František Dvořák attended an elementary and middle school . In January 1918 he was a co-founder of the humanitarian association České srdce ("Czech Heart"), which was supposed to look after the welfare of war widows and their children.
Dvořák oriented himself towards social democracy. He worked as an editor of the magazine Dělnické listy ("Arbeiterblätter"), which appeared in Prague and Vienna, where there was a strong social-democratic movement among Czech workers. He later became the newspaper's editor-in-chief. In the elections for the National Constituent Assembly in 1919, the otherwise competing Czech groups joined together in a common candidacy. Your candidate was the non-party František Dvořák, who was elected with 65,132 votes. He held the mandate in the National Assembly from March 4, 1919 to November 9, 1920.
