Franz-Josef Bäumer

Franz-Josef Bäumer (* 1954 ) is a Roman Catholic , German theologian .

Life

Bäumer studied Roman Catholic theology and education at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . From 1996 to 2002 Bäumer was Professor of Practical Theology: Pastoral Theology / Religious Education at the Philosophical-Theological University of Münster . Bäumer has been Professor of Religious Education and Religious Didactics at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen since 2003 . He is a signatory of the memorandum “ Church 2011: A Necessary Awakening ”.
