Franz-Josef Pauly
Franz-Josef "Jupp" Pauly (born September 16, 1949 in Cochem ) is a former German football player .
The goalkeeper began his career at Germania Metternich before moving to TSV 1860 Munich . He played four Bundesliga games for the Lions in the 1969/70 season . After relegation, he moved to SpVgg Cochem for a year . In 1971 he returned to the Bundesliga and played for Hannover 96 . For Lower Saxony he made 94 Bundesliga games by 1977 and, since they were relegated twice in the meantime, an additional 66 games in the second division .
From 1977 to 1982 he played for Fortuna Cologne and made 163 second division games during this time. The trained car mechanic then ended his career.
