Franz Alexander Kaufmann

Franz Alexander Kaufmann (born December 30, 1863 in Wertheim ; † 1932 ) was a German lawyer and politician ( DNVP ).

Life

After graduating from high school, Kaufmann studied law. He passed the First Legal State Examination , clerkship graduated from courts and he became a doctor of law doctorate . After passing the second state examination in law, he joined the Prussian judicial service as a court assessor. Later he worked as a district judge. He took part in the First World War as a soldier, most recently as a captain in the Landwehr .

Kaufmann joined the German National People's Party (DNVP) and was first chairman of the DNVP landing site in Berlin. From 1919 to 1921 he was a member of the Prussian State Constitutional Assembly . In February 1921 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until 1932. In parliament he represented constituency 2 (Berlin).
