Franz Becker (born March 1, 1918 in Cologne ; † May 26, 1965 there ) was a German football player .
Franz Becker's home club was VfR Köln 04 rrh. , with whom he was already in the German championship finals in 1937 (3 appearances, 1 goal). From 1947 he played with the Höhenbergers in the Oberliga West . In 1948 he was relegated with the VfR from the league. Three years later he moved to 1. FC Köln , where he played with the national players Hans Schäfer , 1954 world champion , Josef Röhrig and Fritz Herkenrath . In total, he completed 50 games in the major league for the two Cologne clubs. In 1954 he ended his active career.
