history
The entrepreneur Franz Bracht founded a towing company in Lippstadt in 1964. In 1965 he bought a truck crane, three years later he bought more cranes. In 1971 Bracht bought the first 100 t cranes. A Gottwald 250 t crane was added for two years. In the following years the vehicle fleet continued to grow and further locations were opened in North Rhine-Westphalia . At the same time branches were opened abroad. From 1978 to 1988 there was a branch in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia . Another branch opened in Kuwait . Work in other countries was also carried out from these branches. His son joined the company in 1991 and took over in 2004 after Franz Bracht's death.
His company currently has around 240 truck-mounted cranes in the performance classes from 7 t to 1600 t as well as around 630 employees to perform all kinds of lifting and transport services.
Franz Bracht KG has owned a Liebherr LTM 11200 / 9.1 since October 2009 , which has a maximum load capacity of 1200 tons.
