Franz Brodowski (born April 6, 1922 in Bergenau ; † May 8, 1997 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and secondary school with the Abitur , he studied at a teacher training college and passed the first and second state exams for teaching at elementary schools. In 1962 and 1963, the state examinations for teaching at schools for the disabled and for teaching at language schools followed. He worked in the school service, most recently as the principal of a school for the disabled.

In 1958 Brodowski joined the SPD and was active in numerous party committees, such as B. as chairman of the Dinslaken city ​​association of the SPD. He was also a member of the Education and Science Union and the Workers' Welfare Union .

He was a member of the city council of Dinslaken from 1961 to 1980.
