Franz Dominikus Zimmermann

Franz Dominikus Zimmermann (* before August 5, 1714 in Gaispoint near Wessobrunn or Füssen , † March 2, 1786 in Wies ), also known as Franz Xaver Dominikus Zimmermann, was a plasterer and builder . He was the son of Dominikus Zimmermann and stuccoed in Steinhausen and in 1738 in the cloister of the Buxheim Charterhouse near Memmingen in Upper Swabia . He married in 1750. Following a tradition of his father, he is said to have also worked as a parlier in the construction of the Wieskirche .
