Franz Dreher (politician)
Franz Dreher (born March 9, 1898 in Ebingen , † December 9, 1977 in Hechingen ) was a German politician ( center , CDU ).
Life
Franz Dreher worked as managing director. During the Weimar Republic he was involved in the Center Party , for which he was elected to the municipal parliament of the Hohenzollern Lands in the last election in 1933 . As early as December 31, 1933, he lost his mandate when it was dissolved. After the end of National Socialism , he became politically active again and joined the CDU . For this he was a member of the Advisory State Assembly of Württemberg-Hohenzollern in 1946/47 and then until 1952, when Württemberg-Hohenzollern was dissolved in the newly founded state of Baden-Württemberg, of the state parliament for Württemberg-Hohenzollern . The Baden-Württemberg state parliament elected him a member of the second federal assembly , which in 1954 re-elected Theodor Heuss as federal president .
