Franz Feilmayr

Franz Feilmayr (born November 2, 1870 in Westerhofen , † January 11, 1934 in Ellwangen ) was a German politician of the Center Party .

Live and act

Franz Feilmayr came from the Swabian lowlands. He attended elementary and advanced training school and then worked as a farmer. He spent most of his life as a farm owner in Ruital.

From 1919 Feilmayr was a member of the Württemberg state parliament for the Catholic Center Party . In 1920 he moved to the Reichstag , to which he belonged until 1930, for his party as a member of the constituency 34 (Württemberg) . Oskar Farny was his successor in the Reichstag . In addition, he was a board member of the Swabian Farmers' Association in Ulm and head of the purchasing and sales cooperative Upper Jagsttal and Härtsfeld based in Lauchheim. He was also a member of the board of directors of the Ellwangen district association .
