Franz Friedrich (writer)
Franz Friedrich (* 1983 in Frankfurt (Oder) ) is a German writer .
Life
After graduating from high school, Franz Friedrich began studying Slavic Studies in Vienna . He then studied experimental film at the Berlin University of the Arts and graduated from the German Literature Institute in Leipzig in 2011 . With his novel Die Meisen von Uusimaa no longer sing , he made his debut as a writer in 2014. In the autumn of the same year he was on the long list of the German Book Prize . Franz Friedrich is the son of the actor Friedrich Liechtenstein and lives in Berlin.
