Franz Gensecke

Franz Gensecke was a German politician ( LDPD ).

Gensecke attended secondary school in Magdeburg . He then completed a banking apprenticeship at the Magdeburg Bank Association from 1913 to 1915. From 1915 to 1919 he did military service in various infantry regiments in Russia and France, most recently as a non-commissioned officer. From 1919 to 1926 he worked as a bank clerk in Magdeburg, Torgau and Berlin , most recently as authorized signatory of the Agricultural Commerzbank in Berlin. From 1927 to 1937 he worked as a business and picture editor in various Berlin editorial offices and publishing houses. After that he was a commercial clerk at the Reich Office for Grain until the end of the war , most recently in the forwarding department. From 1945 he lived as a freelance writer in Berlin before teaching as a lecturer at the Berlin Engineering School from 1947 .

Gensecke joined the LDP Berlin at the end of 1945 and became chairman of the Lichtenberg district association in early 1946 . 1948-1949 he was chairman of the Berlin regional association of the LDP.
