Reinhold Schwarz (politician)

Reinhold Schwarz (born December 9, 1888 in Danzig ; † February 29, 1952 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( LDPD ). He was chairman of the LDP / LDPD state committee in Berlin and deputy LDPD chairman.

Life

Schwarz, the son of a civil servant, graduated from high school in 1909 and studied philology and political science at the universities of Jena , Munich and Königsberg from 1909 to 1912 . In 1912 he passed the state examination, doctorate to Dr. phil. and then worked in the school service. From 1927 to 1945 he was in-house counsel for various Berlin companies. From January to May 1945 he was imprisoned for " insidiousness and disdain for the government as well as undermining military strength ".

In 1945 he joined the LDP. From 1945 to November 1948 he was head of department in the district office of Charlottenburg , and from November 1948 to 1952 he was mayor of the magistrate of Greater Berlin formed in the Soviet sector . From April 1948 he was acting deputy, from June 1948 deputy and from September 1949 to 1952 finally chairman of the LDP / LDPD state executive committee in Berlin. From 1949 he was a member of the executive board of the LDP. From 1950 to 1952 he was a member of the People's Chamber and from June 1951 to 1952 deputy chairman of the LDPD.

Schwarz died at the age of 63 in the Berlin Charité .
