Fritz Hausberg (born January 2, 1880 in Schüren , today in Dortmund , † November 16, 1959 in West Berlin ) was a German liberal politician .

Life

Hausberg, a technical draftsman by profession , later worked as chief designer and senior engineer at AEG . From 1904 he was organized in the technicians' union. From 1907 he was a member of the Liberal Association , from 1910 of the Progressive People's Party and from 1918 of the DDP and DStP .

He was director of the Social Policy Department of the Berlin big business and for DStP city councilor of Berlin. In 1933 he was released at the instigation of the National Socialists .

In 1945, Hausberg belonged to the Antifa committee of the Berlin district of Wedding . In July 1945 he was co-founder of the LDP in Berlin and deputy state chairman of the LDP. After Martin Stritte's resignation , he became interim chairman of the LDP Berlin in February 1946. From July 1946, Hausberg was also a member of the LDP's central board.

From 1946 to 1950 he was a city councilor of the LDP and FDP , from 1950 to 1958 a member and from 1952 vice-president of the Berlin House of Representatives. From 1947 to 1954 he was district councilor and district councilor for health in the Wedding district.

Hausberg is buried in a grave of honor on the II. Reinickendorf Municipal Cemetery.
