Ernst-August Poritz (born April 14, 1921 in Berlin ; † January 28, 2009 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Poritz graduated from secondary school in 1937 and became a sales assistant in 1939 . He then managed his own house and property.

In 1963, Poritz became a member of the CDU and from 1971 a citizens' deputy in the Spandau district . In the Berlin election in 1979 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which he was a member until 1991. Both 1985 and 1989 , Poritz was the senior president of the House of Representatives.

From 1964 Poritz was head of the "Schützengilde zu Spandau (Korp) 1334" and from 1996 to 2003 President of the Berlin-Brandenburg Rifle Association . In 1979 he became a member of the Presidium of the State Sports Association of Berlin .
