Peter Schuster (politician)

Peter Schuster (born July 31, 1934 in Berlin ; † September 7, 2018 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Schuster graduated from high school in 1956 and studied history and political science in Berlin and Paris. In 1969 he graduated from the Free University of Berlin with a degree in political science . From 1980, Schuster was a research assistant at the Technical University of Berlin .

Schuster had been a member of the SPD since 1975. In the Berlin election in 1990 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, of which he was a member until 2001. In 1999 he was the senior president of the House of Representatives.
