Franz Gerstner (politician)

Franz Xaver Gerstner (born May 2, 1816 in Kuttenplan , † October 10, 1855 in Linz ) was a German lawyer and member of the Frankfurt National Assembly .

Life

Franz Gerstner was born the son of a tailor in the Bohemian Kuttenplan.

In Prague he studied law from 1838 to 1841 and received his doctorate there. He then worked as a lawyer in Prague.

From June 27, 1848 to December 15, 1848 he was a member of the Paulskirche parliament in Frankfurt for the constituency of Bohemia (Pilsen district, plan) . It was non-attached but voted with the Left Center. His successor was Carl Zimmer .
